More than 30 years ago, I arrived on Curaçao without knowing that the island would eventually become such an important part of my life.
Over time, through my marriage to my Curaçao-born wife, the people I met, the friendships I built, and the experiences I lived, Curaçao became much more than a destination. It became home.
Living on the island for this long has allowed me to understand Curaçao in a way that goes far beyond what most people experience during a vacation or short stay. I came to understand not only the lifestyle and opportunities, but also the culture, the people, the dynamics of the island, and the practical realities behind living, doing business, and investing here.
For more than 20 years, I have also been active in the real estate sector on Curaçao.
During that time, I have built extensive experience, strong relationships, and a broad network across real estate, development, investment, and business.
Over the years, I noticed something that changed the way I looked at my profession. Many international buyers had already decided they wanted to own property or invest on Curaçao and often even found a home that suited them well. Yet I saw that some of them still hesitated before making the final decision. Not because they doubted the property itself, but because they still had many unanswered questions about living on Curaçao, the different neighborhoods, local regulations, practical matters, and the implications of purchasing real estate here. Most simply did not know where to find reliable information or which professionals they could trust for the right advice.
At the same time, I also met experienced buyers and investors who were already familiar with international real estate but appreciated having a trusted local partner who could save them time and guide them throughout the process.
Those experiences ultimately shaped the way I work today. Rather than replacing the traditional role of a real estate agent, I provide an additional layer of personal guidance before, during, and—when desired—even after the purchase. Depending on each client’s situation, I help them prepare and orient themselves first, assist in finding the right property, guide them through the acquisition process, and remain available afterward whenever ongoing support is appreciated. My goal is to help ensure that everyone involved moves toward a successful transaction with clarity, transparency, and confidence.
That understanding and experience are something I genuinely enjoy sharing with others.
What matters to me is not simply showing properties or facilitating transactions.
I am more interested in understanding people first—their lifestyle, goals, expectations, and what they are truly looking for.
In my experience, the best real estate decisions are often made long before the search for a property even begins.
Outside of work, I enjoy the people and moments that make life special. That is why I love spending my free time with family and friends.
To stay active, I regularly go to the gym and enjoy dancing to Caribbean and Latin American music. I also appreciate a good glass of wine and memorable culinary experiences.
Curaçao has a unique way of bringing people together. Its climate, culture, and relaxed lifestyle create opportunities for meaningful connections and lasting memories. That is one of the many reasons why I enjoy living on the island so much.
